In spirituality, the Shadow refers to the unconscious aspects of oneself that are often repressed or ignored. These aspects can include negative emotions, instincts, unresolved issues, and other traits that are seen as undesirable. The Shadow is often seen as the darker side of one’s personality that they try to hide or deny. The spiritual practice of Shadow encourages us to make peace with those parts of ourselves that we find to be despicable, unworthy, and embarrassing.
